The Gaulin Residence was one of the most rewarding projects our firm has had the privilege to design. The owners wished to transform this site from a mere commodity into a lasting hearth for their family, and we worked closely together in developing every aspect of its design to represent their ideal home. Because its property overlooks the Camp Bullis nature reserve and military base, the Gaulin Residence offers uninterrupted views of the natural Texas Hill Country. With considered planning, we developed a series of public, semi-private, and private spaces throughout the interior and exterior of the house, working down the hillside amongst sweeping outdoor panoramas. From thoughtfully composed facades to intricately detailed molding profiles, we consulted with the owners to elevate this home to a level of design attention not seen elsewhere in its neighborhood. We pride ourselves on this level of craftsmanship in every project that makes its way through our studio.
